Case 01 · Enterprise SaaS · Platform launch · Cross-functional leadership

Launching before the playbook existed.

How do you launch an enterprise customer onto a developing platform—and make the next launch better?

01 / THE PROBLEM

An early enterprise rollout brought a complex operating model, multiple locations, a developing platform and dependencies spread across teams. There was no neat handoff or finished playbook to follow.

02 / THE APPROACH
  • Separated true launch blockers from important follow-up so urgency stayed useful.
  • Created a visible operating rhythm across Product, Engineering, Implementation, Support, Payments, Data, Training and leadership.
  • Kept the customer informed without turning every internal detail into their burden.
  • Captured patterns and readiness questions that could strengthen later launches.
03 / THE OUTCOME

The launch became more than a one-off delivery effort: it surfaced systemic risks, clarified ownership and created reusable context for broader rollout readiness.
